Philip R. Albert, PT
Philip R. Albert has been in private practice for more than 35 years serving the central
New Jersey community. As a clinician he has comprehensive experience treating an extensive
scope of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. He has worked in many capacities
including: Contract Physical Therapist to the Visiting Nurse Associations of Southern and
Central New Jersey; Chief Physical Therapist at Alexian Brothers Hospital and Director of
Rehabilitation at both Columbus Hospital and Columbus Redwood Nursing Home. He is licensed
in both New Jersey and New York, and in fact, was the sixth Physical Therapist to be
licensed by the State of New Jersey. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy
Association and its Neurology and Private Practice Sections. He is a graduate of New York
University. Matthew Albert, PT MS
Matthew Albert received his Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Columbia
University and is a recipient of the Program in Physical Therapy Faculty Award for
Outstanding Student Research. His training includes cardiopulmonary therapy and acute care
at Lutheran Medical Center, outpatient orthopedic care at Bronx VA Hospital and
neurological rehabilitation at The Hospital for Joint Disease. He is licensed in the State
of New Jersey and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association including its
Private Practice, Orthopedic, Sports and Neurology Sections. He brings corporate expertise
to the practice from his many years as a marketing director at Sony Corporation of
